Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Time for a laugh and nope it’s past April fools.

Just to give you all hope for jury rigging gear.

The belt in my CEC player was stretched beyond usability but it was still really soft and pliable.

Removed it to measure and to obtain a replacement.

However being me and impatient I decided to act.

Cut the old belt and snipped out about 3/4inch and then tied a knot in it.

Yep you read right, pulled it really tight and cut the dog ear ends of real close.

Has played at least twenty cds flawlessly so far..........
Boxer12:

Thank you. I’ll have to look into Rilo Kiley a bit. So far I like what I’ve heard. Might have to investigate more artists on this list as well.
In a bit of a glam mood today, started with Lou Reed "Rock 'n' Roll Animal" marveling at  Prakash John's bass work, then Mott The Hoople "All The Young Dudes", and finally David Bowie's "Diamond Dogs"

Mental.

I think some of yesterday posts established that this Audiophool community in general does not have a sense of humour at all!

I think you and I are a breed apart here!
Next up.

Feedback ... Rush.

This time around it is on vinyl, 200g master recording.

Really, really nice through my new Lyra Dorian.

I do own a few Jenny and Rilo discs- I concur.  Happy Listening!
Cowboy Junkies - Trinity Sessions. Just got the CD. $4.

I really like a few of the songs and generally dislike a few.

Lay It Down remains my favorite of their albums. Seems more mature musically and lyrically. Is also well produced.
@uberwaltz: "I think some of yesterday posts established that this Audiophool community in general does not have a sense of humour at all!"

I think you are right. But let's not let that keep the rest of us from having a good laugh even if they don't get it......or even if it is at their expense. ;-)
N80

Dang right.

Sometimes people just need to stop and smell the roses.

I can’t help myself at times.... lol

sure it is not appreciated but oh well
Cowboy Junkies has never really ensnared me yet, definitely a case of I can take em or leave em.
