Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Original Gangsta Rap Collection-VA(Japanese CD pressing)

Sarah Vaughan-At Mister Kelly’s(CD)

Starting vinyl night on a riotous vibe. Gangsta Rap is a well recorded CD. It has many of the early harder core classics. Kid Frost "La Roza" might interest Classic Rock fans of Santana/War or Malo? Sarah Vaughan is now playing to calm things down including my wife!

Al Jarreau-L Is For Lover(CD) Setting me up for 80's vinyl night with one of Jarreau’s glossiest recordings. Correction Kid Frost- La Raza NOT Roza. I’m sure many caught this error.

Y & T-In Rock We Trust(Japanese CD) vinyl night gets an a** kicking warm up.
+1 nutty Y & T do get overlooked by the mainstream metal crowd. I think the media(radio) thought they sounded to much like Sammy Hagar/Van Hagar which limited radio play,

Encomium-VA  A Tribute To Led Zeppelin(CD)

Rebecca Richardson-Stirred, Not Shaken(CD)

Great tribute recording! IMO the only solid miss is Four Sticks by Rollins Band. STP crushes on Dancing Days! Ms. Richardson is(was?) a South Florida(Naples) based Jazz Vocalist. Krall and Barber have nothing on her.

Pat Metheny Group-Letter From Home(CD)-A smooth and laid-back precursor for vinyl night.

Blood Sweat & Tears 4(CD) My favorite BST studio recording kicks off vinyl night with superior musicianship.
The Manhattan Transfer-ST(CD) A great jazz/pop recording as I finalize my vinyl playlist tonight.
+666 arcticdeth I appreciate all your metal postings it’s a breath of fresh air on Audiogon! Most of my metal collection is on CD’s vinyl is expensive new or old with very marginal SQ improvements with metal recordings. When you find great sounding metal releases on vinyl or CD please let the Audiogon community know about it. I’m sure there are plenty of closet metalheads here.

Blue Magic-ST(Japanese CD)

Starts Friday vinyl night with a top 25 R&B recording of the 1970's in content and sound quality. Not easy to find a VG++ or better original vinyl pressing.

Kicks of a much anticipated vinyl night!

Fastball-All The Pain Money Can Buy(CD) a somewhat forgotten 1990's band that defies categorization jumpstarts another diverse vinyl night

@david_ten    Thx. It's just one of those great recordings regardless of your music(genre) bias.

Grace Mahya-Last Live At DUG(CD) A reference level(SQ) digital recording that sets the bar high for vinyl night.

Jakob Dylan-Women+Country(CD) A favorite of my wife when regarding "newer" music. Friday night vinyl follows.
