A night with Jane, playing through a double album of (from wiki) “a melodious synthesis of symphonic hard rock, that has occasionally been compared to Pink Floyd, Hannover Krautrockers…” Haha, occasionally.

Delivered today, thanks for the endorsement @mofimadness. I’ve never been thrilled with the fidelity of my 1975 Capitol release but love the content. Now, to get to the M’s…😁
I have two new lovely acquisitions, both in pristine condition for my poor system. The first is Mozart's Requiem and Kyrie in D Minor. By the English Baroque Soloists and Monteverdi Choir, conducted by John Eliot Gardiner. Spectacular solos by Barbara Bonney, Anne Sofie Von Otter, Han Peter Blochwitz, and Willard White. Recorded in Sept and Nov 1986 on period instruments. Just stunning.
The second is Tom Waits' album Foreign Affairs, recently remastered by Waits/Brennan. Terrific duet with Bette Midler. Recorded with a live orchestra in July/August 1977. Just sounds so good with a smoky bourbon.
