The earliest pressings of Love it to Death were on the Straight label (Zappa imprint) and have a very lively sound. Not so easy to find these in unmolested condition, but if you do a search you'll see some discussion of the album as a WLP with Randy Kling's signature as mastering engineer in the deadwax. Brilliant guitars in unison- at the time of release, I thought of them as a novelty act. I was not worthy. :)
