Hey Steve! I bet you do know the fellow! He recommended the JT album when he, tomic601, and myself went to Stereo Unlimited in San Diego for the Vandersteen event with Richard Vandersteen. We had a blast!!! :-)

Wasn't there a company called Simply Vinyl that was accused of using mostly digital sources to make up most, if not all of their Lp catalog?
Tried a Stereophile recommendation. Aaron Diehl, "The vagabond". Sparse jazz recording of piano, drums, and bass. Mood music. probably not everyone's cup of tea. Superb recording on Tidal though....
