Dinosaur Jr./ self-titled 1985 LP.

A little rough. Recorded in someone's basement.
Doesn't sound like J Mascis is lead vocal on everything back then.

You hear some hints of their later sound on a few songs, i.e.  Where you Been (1993).
Derek and the Dominoes, Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs;
Best of  Otis Redding (possible bootleg? sounds good, though).
REM/ Out of Time

Had not listened to this one in a long while.
On reflection, I know the band liked it, as it made them lots of money.
But I actually liked at least three of their earlier albums better.
Linda Rondtsadt, Retrospective Album
Beatles, Let it Be, original version
Michelle Shocked, Short, Sharp, Shocked
Thanks; Cincinnati is kind of lucky to have two fairly large record stores. George Winston kind of a recent discovery for me, nice music for an evening fire with the dogs.

Wish I had joined this forum years ago.
Not night here yet, but lately it's been:

MoFi Half Speed Master of Fleetwood Mac/Fleetwood Mac

Poco/ Legend

Jackson Browne/ Running on Empty

Townes Van Zandt/ For the Sake of the Song

George Winston/December (getting the most play)
