David Bromberg - Try Me One More Time.  An entire set of just David and his guitar.  Fantastic!

Tonighf we listened to Gerry Mulligan Quartet  - Dragonfly on the Telarc Jazz label.  Always great recordings.  Followed that up with Johnny Adams - Walking on a Tightrope.

Fabulous record.  If you ever wondered how good a guitarist Steve really is, here's the LP that removes all doubt.

Great recording released on the Stony Plain label. At the end of the disc is a 20 minute interview with Sonny Rhodes and the label founder Holgar Peterson.  A real pleasure to listen to this.  Such an intersting perspective to Sonny's journey through his musical career.

@bslon So glad to see someone else listening to Dan Hicks (and his hot licks).  Been loving Dan for just about 50 years now.  A national treasure.

Just now enjoying George Thorogood’s release "Party of One" . While not all reviews have been great, I like it when a musician goes into the studio with just a guitar and puts it on the line. Another one like this is Dylan’s "World Gone Wrong" LMAO when I read a review of that one that suggested it should have been call "Bob Gone Wrong". I think I’ll play it as soon as George is finished. 🤣

At this very moment, Oscar Peterson Trio Live at The Blue Note, but seeing the cover of Blues For Allah, I may just pull out the SACD copy I recently got from Mo-FI.  Surpising (or not), it doen't really sound any better than my original LP from 45 years ago.  The music never stopped.

Just finished listening to Sister Morphine, and Moonlight Mile from Sticky Fingers.  Followed up with couple sides from Art Blakey.
