@boxer12,
I happened to glance over at the other music thread and noticed where your moniker originated. I had wondered, but I now get it. I was once a motorcycle dude. Mostly raced motocross back in the day where it was only two-stroke bikes. Roger Decoster was my hero then.
@reubent ,

I forgot about Bultaco & Puch. I’ve owned/or ridden Hodaka & Can Am. My remembrance is Puch was more of a trail bike/trials bike.

Can-Am came later.

Hodaka 90, 100, 125 , Wombat, Combat Wombat. Hodaka was a trail bike.

Don’t forget CZ.
@6t5-gto,

I get it brother! One of my riding friends had a Can-Am 370, Wow! That thing was scary!

"Can’t Buy a Thrill" I’d like to find a great sounding pressing.
@6t5-gto,

While my BW is a 180gr, I believe I bought around 15 years ago. My memory is that it was pressed by Scorpio. There is no inner jacket.
Brandi Carlile "by the way, I forgive you". There was some discussion over this lp over the past week. I decided to put it on for another listen after a nice system upgrade.

@boxer12,

I quit road bikes after an 11 year old boy driving a farm tractor cut in front of me. My head hit the front blade. I was riding a Kawasaki 500/3cylinder/2 stroke.

What was interesting about the Huskys was they came in a CR (close ratio), and a WR (wide ratio) transmission...(or gearing) depending on what kind of racing/riding you preferred.  Remember OSSA, MAACO, Penton, etc...?
Well, I find it interesting that several of us music guys also have motorcycle history.
The BC lp is compressed but not so much that I can't enjoy and make out subtle details.
Hi @big_greg,

I love JW. However, his label "Third Man Records" has not given us the best sound on vinyl. Very disappointing!

That is what keeps me from buying his stuff.
@big_greg,
I appreciated your post very much.

AC/DC "High Voltage"   from the box   !!!!
@big_greg,

My MFSL Abandoned Lunchoenette is one of my favorite records. SQ=Awesome!

Bruce Springsteen "High Hopes"
Ric Ocasek  "This Side Of Paradise"  a very good (solo) lp by Ric, even though most of The Cars bandmembers helped out. It was on my tt quite a bit in the late 80s.
@uberwaltz,

I should have mentioned it earlier when I inquired about your TT motor power supply....it may be something you'd want to check on once in a while...Kevin @ K&K Audio has had a motor controller under development for a few years now, his personal TT is a Nottingham.
