I used an EAR 834p mm/mc w/ volume for over 10 years. It responds well to tube rolling, pc upgrades, isolation. I ended up using 60' Seimens.
If you're just using mm carts, the mm only version is recommended. I found the mc stage inferior. You'll probably want a SUT for mc carts. |

I got the lp pretty darn flat. Deep clean always helps but the record is a little noisy. Nothing I can do about that. I do love the record!
