Tim,

I have had a similar set out of acrylic for years. I didn’t like them as much as these. The acrylic bases on the others made an audible scratching noise. Unlike the more substantial material on the Nobsound.

I can’t really make a substantive comparison at this time but my system has never sounded better in the last few weeks and this change today did nothing to harm this. I do believe the power of the low to deep bass has benefited.

Lucinda Williams "The Ghosts of Highway 20"

Heard one song on local radio today and had to play it!

An underrated masterpiece!

Neko Case "Middle Cyclone"

puttin' on my translucent/clear copy now .

@grey9hound ,

I used an EAR 834p mm/mc w/ volume for over 10 years. It responds well to tube rolling, pc upgrades, isolation. I ended up using 60' Seimens.

If you're just using mm carts, the mm only version is recommended. I found the mc stage inferior. You'll probably want a SUT for mc carts.
Galaxy 500 "This Is Our Music"

BTW, Dean Wareham was leading this band prior to Luna.

You all reminded me that I had them (Talking Heads) in my mind for this weekend.

Rumours  has great content and one of the biggest selling records all time.

Just finished side one of Barn. I'm loving it! I guess the title is a hint to the era of Neil & Crazy Horse which is present here. SQ is great!

I sure enjoyed it more than ever yesterday. Some aspects were big surprises!

Garbage "No God's No Masters"

2021/Stun Volume/Infectious Music

Giving this another spin. Wasn't impressed with the content on first listen.

Man this phono stage has impressive bass response and resolving abilities.

Now...I'm putting on the Friday Music version, which I find to be excellent! Here goes side one at the same volume level............

Steve Phillips "Steel-Rail Blues"
Unamerican Activities /Brave 9
UK

I highly recommend this lp. It’s just wonderful in all aspects. This happens to be a Linn Selekt recording as well.

Paul Simon "There Goes Rhymin' Simon"

A Sony/Legacy remaster

gold stamped 3231

John Illsley "Coming Up for Air"

2019/Creek Touring & Records/Blue Barge Records

Hard to keep up with you Uber. Does the Diva have springy-type suspension? I forget. Is Avid still in business?

BTW, you should put drrsutlif on retainer.
