Up now "More Songs About......"

"True Stories" ain"t no slouch..........

Never realized how great "More Songs About ......." is!
@spiritofradio,

I know you're a fan of Montrose, especially "S/T". If you run across the Friday Music version I recommend you snap it up.
Finally, Kim Richey "Rise". This is a great record. To my knowledge, she hasn’t made a better one since. This title is hard to find. It replaces my other one bought from a past friend as a little scratchy in some parts. That one will go for sale if all turns out all right.

New West Records had a lot of pressing issues early on.
Thanks to @boxer12, this has been one of the most enjoyable/ revealing evenings of music I already owned, maybe ever! Talking Heads lps.
While waiting for the aforementioned Talking Heads lp to clean...

"True Stories" pp

Brian, I found a pp of Comes a Time years ago for $4. It is a superb/sounding record!

Thanks Brian. I guess I didn't make it clear that I'm with my mother full time for several weeks while my sister recovers from shoulder surgery. No time for music, ☹️.

Not sure if that on ever came out on vinyl. I have Kerosene Hat though.

@ghosthouse ,

You need to stop by more often. I'm a fan as well. So much music, not enough time.
@spiritofradio,

Your mentioning Charles Lloyd "Love In" Live at The Fillmore the other week was the basis for me buying that lp. Just ran across a sealed pp today and ordered it. Thanks!
I think you’re right James but it was your story about it that intrigued me.
@tomic601 ,

"Till the Sun Turns Black" .....I thought you were talking about Charles Lloyd and Googled it, couldn't find it???

Silver Jews "The Natural Bridge"

1996/Drag City

It's a good day when I can listen to David Berman......RIP.

Love that James....repeating a great record!

,...,............

Been rethinking/rearranging my acoustical treatments to great effect!
Now the soundstage is shining, the presentation is made more whole, the bass is no longer muddy. (Now, I realized that.)
Another BTW, I have a Phoenix Engineering Eagle/Roadrunner coming in on Saturday. Hoping it will work with the VPI & Rock 7.

In addition to that, got an idea on how to decouple my wall decoupling system even further. The best part is, I already have everything I need in house.
The Stones "Hot Rocks" ’64 _’71/2002 ABKCO/clear vinyl.

This one sounds very good.
Good to know brother Tom. You probably even gained several months on us with your bike riding and all.?
BTW @big_greg,

I just ordered an inexpensive tweek, (conjured in my mind) to use in conjunction with the VPI dual pivot factory upgrade. I’ll let you know how it works out.
