What to fill Skylan stands with for Harbeth SHL5s

When I bought my stands from Noel, he recommended rice. 

If you going to use “ sand” .. Think swimming pool filter filtration sand,

It is suitably fine, EZ to use and fill stands as it is poured out, and it remains desert dry immune to humidity and dampness retention because it is a superior pure silica compound.
