What's going with Small Green Computer?

Hello Everyone,

I took advantage of the Black Friday sales to purchase a SonicTransporter i9 back in November.

I sent Andrew a message in mid-December saying I would be about of town until the New years, then follow up on Monday Jan 16 saying I was back in town since I was worried my ST had fallen through the cracks.

He replied it would ship on Wednesday.

On Saturday Jan 21 I requested a tracking number, to which he replied I would get it shortly (which I didn't).

On Wednesday Feb 8, I sent another email offering to forgo the carbon fibre top, and expressed a willingness to wait on the SFP module since I have some that will work already.

Anyone have any idea what is going on over there?

I keep getting sales offers, so I know someone is there.

I don't want a refund, I just want my server.
I have seen other companies run by good people go sideways in unexpected ways. Just want to know if anyone has any idea what is going on.

In my past experience with Small Green Computer, Andrew has be extremely helpful and responds very fast to any communication - the kind of service we usually only wish for.

He offers great products and great service - I don't want to add to his burden if he is having family issues or something, but I'd like to get out of the deal if things are falling apart.

Thanks,

-Josh

I have only experienced similar customer service there.

No other info available.

Update Monday Feb 13

So I made this thread on Saturday the 11th in the afternoon, at the time my order was still listed as pending, and I had heard nothing back.

I got an email that night at 9:00pm from SMG notifying me that it shipped, and a follow up from Andrew Sunday evening letting me know it had gone out on Friday the 10th.

So, looks like he is working late nights and weekends and is not communicating as effectively as he normally does.

Like I said, he normally is very responsive - it had me worried to getting told something had shipped and then hearing nothing. I am brushing this off - sometimes things fall through the cracks.

Thanks everyone,

-Josh
