What Do You Think Of Townshend Allegri Preamps?

I've got the Townshend Super-Tweeters, which are superb... but... they're way overpriced when considering their competition (though Chinese).  

I've seen the recent ad for Townshend Allegri Passive Preamp, which is also - way, way overpriced for the cost of it's contents.  I'm amazed that Townshend can continure to command that kind of price / mark-up for a passive preamp, which probably has less than $200 parts and labor.  And... there are no dealer "markups."  

So... I want to know... who has the Allegri Passive Preamps and how do they compare to other great preamps (active or passive)???
