Well, it depends on the other gear you have. I had my Mini-Monos hooked up to Triangle Celius or Antals. Running a Cary SLP-98 pre-amp. I was using AQ Type 4 speaker cables and Kimber PBJ and Timber interconnects. A very sweet but resolving system, probably the best low volume system I've ever put together.
