As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares. We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media. I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations. I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.
@16f4 Glad you gave it a try. These days I generally don't listen to a lot of "alternative/indie" artists, but I liked them. They reminded me of some of the 90's alternative female artists I liked like Liz Phair, Poe, PJ Harvey, etc. It's good that we don't all like the same things, or there wouldn't be so much variety available to us!
I am streaming ( lossless hi-res) the Keith Jarrett Trio’s “Live inTokyo “ (1996) via Quoboz web player, feeding my home audio system through a Marantz 8006 DAC / Network receiver/ CD player unit I just purchased. Very impressive sound .
Gliderman2m Welcome to our wonderful streaming thread and to the world of online streaming in general. Glad to have you with us and enjoy your Qobuz on that very nice Marantz piece!
“Ghosteen” , Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds , released 10/2019 ....on Quboz ,best streaming plan they have ...... I am 63 and tend to shy away from most alt/indie music , but Quboz makes it easy to browse and find artists that you heard of but never listened to ! Ghosteen rocks ! Quboz rocks ! Dropped Apple Music, Amazon Unlimited, Tidal, once I found Quoboz and Primephonic ( equally great ) for classical music AND it’s modern interpretations ! Kudos to Quboz !!!😂😂👍👍
gliderman2m, couldn’t agree with you more. i am really broadening my listening tastes, and even though I find stuff I definitely don’t like I find a lot of new music and artists I love. With the help of this forum, of course.
