What are you streaming tonight?

As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares.
We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media.
I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations.
I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.
uberwaltz
But I intend to post any music I am playing right here.
Hence the reason I changed to spinning.

It's nearly a one man road show anyways.......
Well I mean for starters it plays louder, soundstage is bigger, definition is huge , I mean EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas right!

😂😂😂😂😂
Patto - "The Man" - Streamed via YouTube since it got removed from Spotify.......
Ides of March ... Midnight Oil.

R2r 7.5ips.

Pretty rare tape, not even on Discogs, well it is now as I will be submitting it.
@uberwaltz - I'm a big fan of Rare Earth. "Ecology", Get Ready" and, of course, the live album "Rare Earth In Concert" are 3 fantastic albums. I'll bet "Ecology" sounds great on the R2R.
@reubent

You are correct, I sat down and was positively entranced!
It was actually first time I had heard Ecology and I loved the cover of Eleanor Rigby!
@uberwaltz - Right on Brother! Listening to "Ecology" now on vinyl. I'm slumming with the vinyl as I don't have a fancy R2R to listen on............ ;~)

BTW, we have a local second hand store that has a bunch of unopened original R2R recordings. I see them advertise on Craigslist all the time. If I ever make it over there to take a look, I'll let you know if they have any good stuff for decent prices.
@reubent
That would be awesome brother!
R2R tapes are unfortunately hot right now.
Just an example
On fleabay right now with over a day still to go.
1984 by Van Halen at $304 so far, crazy, not even that good of a VH album to start with!
What do you think of that Alarm album Reubent?
I was suitably impressed.

Right now a huge fave of mine.

August and Everything After ... Counting Crows.

Cassette.
@uberwaltz - I just went through the brand new record - "Sigma" for the first time last night. It sounds very much like last years release - "Equals". I like both. I especially like "Two Rivers" from "Equals" and "Two Rivers-Reprise" from "Sigma".

I saw The Alarm - Equals Tour last year and it was fantastic. The new songs from Equals came off better live than they do on the album. I'm hoping I can make it to Nashville tomorrow night to see them again. I'll have a second chance to catch them on the Sigma Tour in Milwaukee or Cleveland later this summer.

That said, I like both albums, but I don't love them. Sometimes the lyrics seem a bit contrived and sometimes Peters seems to be trying too hard. Peters has been through a lot and it is impressive that he is still going as strong as he is. I just wish the songs held up a little better, like "Strength", "68 Guns", "The Stand" and "Spirit of '76" from back in the day.
I am hardly ever in the right town at the right time to see anybody nowadays.

I would agree that liking both of their latest is correct terminology, love them would be too strong right now.
Although I did record Equals to reel at 7.5ips and it sounds rather splendid!

The Confessor ... Joe Walsh.

Henry Gross - Plug Me Into Something
Jason and The Scorchers - Lost & Fond
Mason Ruffner - Gypsy Blood
Elf - Elf
Eno - Here Come The Warm Jets
801 - Live
