uberwaltz A quick comment about Dire Straits’ Communique. I remember that one taking some time to appreciate vs what seemed at the time the much stronger S/T debut. However, over the years, Communique gets played more often and in particular the last two tracks: Single-Handed Sailor and Follow Me Home...great music, great sonics. IMO, everything you need to know about DS in 10 and half minutes.
FWIW - re Supertramp, there were weeks after it first came out that Even in the Quietest Moments was getting played every night and often more than once. |

I’m using an Auralic Aries and Vega to stream from my QNAP NAS. Right now l’m listening to the Four Tops (aiff 192/24 purchased on line). I was a teen in the 60’s and grew up not too far from Detroit, on the Canadian side. CKLW was the big MoTown station and I still love that music. |
