This doesn’t make sense to me. What are the room dimensions? If it’s large you might be better off with floorstanders as monitors might struggle to provide enough output. Boom would be more of a concern in a smaller room, not a larger one. |
While I respect Wharfdale as a brand and that the Aura 2 may be a good speaker, I agree with @roxy54 that in the $2500 range there are a lot of excellent alternatives. I’ll mention Fritz Carbon, Revival Atalante 3, ProAc Tablette, and Reference 3a de Capo just to name a few. Frankly I’d probably take any of these over the Aura 2, but the point is it’s worth doing some research into what else is out there at this level if you haven’t already.
