If you go on the Well Tempered web site. they have a section on making a jig and the type of monofilament line to make your own belts. I'm surprised the distributor can't help you. The gentleman you should talk to is Mike Pranka. He had helped me in the past.

mr m nailed it, that is the only way to go. I have that table and will never need to buy another belt. I went to the hobby store and bought the mono filament thread (polyester) in the link.
