I agree 100%. There is a problem. Covid helped them consolidate their foothold and many businesses have gone under while they stayed in business. Now our choices are very limited, especially in the flyover country. I wonder how many have recently awakened to the truth you shared?
But on another note, its somewhat misleading when you have little or no choice to call out people who have no choice. Washers, Refrigerators, etc. What American company even make appliances? None of them. TV? Electronics in general? No One. Tube Amplifiers? CJ, Atmasphere, cary, ARC, Rogue, etc all make them right here. They aree forced to comply with certain standards which CPP doesn't comply. We have been sold out to the highest bidder which is China CPP
And everyone who thinks it was dumb to buy from China - get off your high horse and stop shopping at Walmart and Amazon then. They have singlehandedly destroyed western manufacturing and are the two great evils of western society.
