Always amusing how digital people want it to sound analog. If only there was another way...

I was using a Cardas Clear coax for a few years and like it a lot but decided to try a Transparent USB. So much more detail using the USB without being harsh. If you can, I would demo both to find out which one you like best.

I often recommend Cardas, but that is exactly the difference. I use Transparent, but your equipment must be up to them or that added warmth with Cardas can help lessor components sound more natural.

Just historical. Analog was superior sounding for forty years and only recently became competitive or better.
