Step down transformer (versus altering the component).
Don't know if thread will help. https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/voltage-conversion-of-accuphase-e-650
May be able to help you if you can post a picture(s) like others did in the above thread.

Based on a web photo, the Accuphase A70 utilize Faston connection for voltage conversion, no soldering required. Swapping two wires will change the incoming mains voltage from 100V to 120V. If you can post a image of the transformer 100V connection, I think we can figure it out. |
@imhififanHow about the Accuphase A-80? I post some pictures of the power supply board for the A-80: I will appreciate very much if you would provide information on how to convert voltage 100v to 12ov. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for posting photos of Accuphase A-80. To convert the mains supply voltage from 100V to 120V, my suggestion is power up the A-80 with 100V mains,
If the above measurements are correct, swap the blue wire for the white wire and the red wire for the orange wire to convert the A-80 mains transformer to 120V mains. In addition, install a resistor in series to the primary winding of the auxiliary transformer to reduce the output voltage of its secondary winding by 20%.

@imhififanThank you very much for the information you provided. I will try to do accordingly. I will keep you updated. Thank you very much again. |
Just wanted to let you know that I don't have any experience with A-80 voltage conversion, I'm just making recommendations based on photos and previous experience converting Accuphase amplifiers. I highly recommend using DBT to power up the A-80 after conversion. Please keep me updated, thanks.

@imhififanI have successfully converted the A-80 from 100v to 120v thanks to your great help. Thank you very much again. Meanwhile, do you know information on voltage conversion of Accuphase control amplifiers like C-3900, C-2900 and C-2300? Thank you again. |
