Vinshine X Collaboration with Kinki Studio, TheTai Hang power enhancer

What a surprise after installing the Taihang in my system,, in a word, amazing.  Stage depth clarity was amoung one of the first things I notice.  My system consists of tubes pre and power amps, with a digital and analog front end.  Tubes as we know exhibit a second harmonic noise distortion which is a given and something we live with as it’s our perception as being more musical.  Dirty power can add more nastiness to this by way of unfiltered AC.  With the addition of the Taihang it has made all the background information much more clearer.  My speakers are fairly high resolving so was able to take advantage of this additional gain the Taihang give me.  Leading edges from instruments started and stopped more precisely still retaining musicality. Black background noise seemed non existent as we like saying but in this case it really does without straining to not hear.  So clean power can do all this, seems to be!  Also will mention as in some cases experienced with power amps, I sensed no loss in dynamics or compression which is one of the biggest concerns when implementing such products.  This in my first day of listening.  So again I’ll go back to my original statement, amazing!   Alvin’s collaboration as he calls it, has some magic inside this beautifully crafted box.

@fthompson251 i had communications with Alvin today, You can purchase the unit from sales@beatechnik.com. There’s no tariff but they are charging $100.00 delivery fee to deal with import duties and taxes, delivery remains free. I’ll be buying a T/H  in the near future, Estimated shipping duration is 15-20 business days.

@mrsprinkles

it bested a Furutech ncf conditioner. I thought about putting the furutech up for sale but wanted to try daisy chaining them first. That might be a little bit better than the tai hang alone. Not clearly be better like originally replacing the Furutech- maybe a little bit . It could also be my imagination or how I feel now. I’ll leave them both in for a little while and then take the Furutech out. sometimes taking a piece of equipment out, makes more of a difference than putting it in for some reason.

another tidbit: my speakers used to buzz a little bit in the tweeter and especially the mid range. The hai tang fixed that.

Question for T/H users: are you running tube or SS amps? I run SS, and don’t have any audible hum or buzzing.  Do you think a T/H will make much of an improvement on sound quality?

I run a dedicated isolated ground 20A line for my amp, and have a PS Audio Duet (fed by AQ Tornado PC) on a separate 15A line, powering my digital front end of streamer, DAC, and pre (all w Cardas Cygnus PC).

Thanks for your thoughts.

Best, JAMES

Can someone who has received the device write how long they waited for it? A friend ordered one piece 8 weeks ago. It still hasn't been shipped, even though it says the waiting time for dispatch is 4-6 weeks. No one is responding to messages (vinshine.audio).
Really a very bad experience.

What power cords is everyone using to the Tai Hang ? Something decent or something more high end? I am trying to consider the full cost to introduce it to the system. A good PC added would double the cost of the Tai Hang.
