I've had mine for about a week and I'm very pleased! I can hear more detail. On a couple of well-worn tracks, I can now make out all of the lyrics. Without the Tai Hang, the singers sounded like they were mumbling. They're not mumbling, they're either whispering or smashing syllables together but they're not mumbling. The increased resolution is musically meaningful. It is easier to hear the interplay between musicians and instruments sound more realistic.
There's no change in tonality. Nothing is bright or edgy. I don't like that kind of sound. My Meitner MA3i dac is smooth and my Graham LS 5/5s have the famous Gundry dip in the presence region. That said, the system has more presence and, when called for, more bite. Any bite is quick, not cringy.
Finally, I plugged in my mono amplifiers to it and haven't heard any loss of dynamics. If anything, the system sounds more dynamic, with greater contrasts between loud and soft. I am running class D amps, so they're not drawing a lot of juice.
Great product. Very nice improvement from my previous conditioner/distributor (and cheaper too). The Tai Hang lowers the noise floor and/or removes grunge. If my system expands, I will buy another.
