Upgraded turntable

It's been long enough; we finally upgraded our turntable and phono pre-amp. The Fluance with the Nagaoka MP200 and the MS-23B were good for the money and we enjoyed it. But "we want just a little more" bug bit us. We went to our local audio store and brought home the VPI prime scout 21 with the Parasound JC3 jr. We did not like the uni-pivot arm, pain to cue on record and the belt squeal. As we used the vpi we realized Changing the cartridge was important to us. We returned the turntable and discussed our options with the owner, there wasn't anything else there in the same price range. He pulled up the Denon 3000ne and it looked good, maybe. I asked about the Mofi turntable, can't get any until the new version comes out. So, we went to listen to more records with turntables a little higher in price. After talking with the wife and getting a lower price on a Luxman PD151MKII we went with that. we also bought the Denon DL103R cartridge. Ordered the Parasound in black and Trib cables. These are going to be part of our forever system. Just cartridges and tubes for changes.
