Yes there is an earth connection inside the (room circuit) wire loom which connects to earth
Unswitched sockets
I am planning to upgrade my hifi supply and to change some of the sockets dedicated to my hi-fi to unswitched sockets (i.e. on all the time)
I was also offered the chance to buy an unswitched socket complete with an earth grounding (I am guessing to connect to turntable - this doesn’t have earth plug) do you think this would be worth the extra money (only about £10more)
