You guys and Millercarbon Derangement Syndrome.

I understand that his opinionated claims rubbed some people the wrong way. They didn't rub me the wrong way. What got under my skin were the insults and the reflexive tendency to demean.

Kinda weird the the dude is being brought up as a thread subject. So he's out, Leave it at that.

Why is it weird? People here spend years on the site conversing, exchanging ideas, jokes, etc. with someone who then disappears. Mentioning them seems quite normal.

Consider: if someone you spent hours conversing with in your personal life just disappeared and popped up elsewhere, it would be worth a mention, no? Weird that you think it’s weird. 

He took his ball and went home. Good for him.

Another website, another bookmark, another open tab.

I wonder if the menu item called "High Ed" is meant to mean "Higher education" or if it's just a typo for "High End"? Then again, he might know someone named Ed who is high. 

Anyone can start a website, but it's a long haul to keep it full of content. Much easier to jump on to a forum and riff on others' content. 

Still, he is promising both "blather" and "banter," and he's copyrighted it all to keep from others from stealing. (My plan -- foiled!)
