Turntable Amp

What is your recommendation on an under $500 amp; I only listen through headphone Grado RS1.
The new turntable is a Rega Planar 3 with White Elys II cartridge.  My current amp is  Art Phono Plus USB amplifier.
Is one of the tube amplifier better or solid state? Thank you.
