Don't sell it! SAGA is too good to part with (IMHO). Another prog-rock group that I enjoy, this time out of Germany, only have 4 albums but I like each one is "ALIAS EYE". Very good recordings of some fun music in varying styles from more melodious, story-telling prog-rock to one album that's much more hard-driving rock music. |
Saga, Worlds Apart "On the loose" SAGA is an amazing band,...have followed them since the 80s. All the albums are great. There is one live album ("IN TRANSIT") they did many, many years ago with a great version of "On The Loose" and many other of their early hits on it. There have been other more recent live albums but that one is one of my favorites... |

bdp24, I’m a big Boby Darin fan. I grew up listening with my Dad and his music and other music from that era has stuck with me. Thanks for the shout, glad you enjoyed it. Niles Lofgren Band Live- "Bass & Drum intro" (Fantastic 3:30 minutes of jamming) https://youtu.be/w3iyqbuY-_g N |
nutty's Bobby Darin choice reminded me to listen to another of his songs, "Beyond The Sea". The song is okay, but what makes the track so great is the drum break (not long enough to be called a solo) in the middle, played by the great Don Lamond. THE coolest drum part I have EVER heard! Insanely great. |
slaw, Thats a great live albumn. Its been a while since I've listened to any Molly Hatchet. Glad I pulled it out. Alvin Lee, Keep on Rockin' "The Bluest Blues" featuring George Harrison on slide guitar. https://youtu.be/rB6OlJqV1rQ N |
