Truth on "Truth?"

I was  on Fremer's website this morning, and there is a bit on Jeff Beck's "Truth" on Mofi 45 RPM.

Curiosity ALWAYS gets me when I see these 45 reissues come out. I have 1st press of both stereo and mono that  are quite good.  Definitely a must own for Beck and early Rod Stewart/Faces fans.

Anyone have a copy? I know the 45 rpm treatment of something gives it an extra boost of energy, so just wanted to read impressions comparing it with the original press of this great album. I realize the original recording ain't "audiophile" to begin with but, the 45 thing can make things interesting.

How's the GIANT bass lines of Ronnie Wood on "Ain't Superstitious?"

I have orginal pressing and sound Great. But what do I know ,I've only been a fan of Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart since the 60s.I owe most of there recordings .With all the different bands they both played with on Vinyl or cd.But my system is only under $10,000 so......what do I know.
"The first UK, blue black label Columbia/EMI, is so much better than the US Epics it's like a different album."

whart- I've had one of those on my permanent hit list.  Unobtanium, unless one is willing to pay a premium. Your assessment of the Brit copy sounding noticeably "better" confirms my suspicion there IS a better sounding copy of this classic. The US copy has that  layer of "haze" I hear on many R&R recordings.
Have not heard it. The first UK, blue black label Columbia/EMI, is so much better than the US Epics it's like a different album. Those are probably costly now in mint condition.
