Townshend maximum super tweeters that they sell on Audiogon

I gave them a spin on my Vienna Acoustic Liszt speakers and the concensus was we liked them better without the Townshend.  Not bashing Townshend because I have the podiums and platforms under most of my equipment.

My concern would be with adding another set of speakers which may change the total ohms and thus skew the sound.

I have been using these with my large Horn speakers for 2 years.  Everything sounds better. Bass, mids etc.  I brought mine to friends 2 weeks ago. They did the same for their Von Schweikerts.  These are not snake oil.  Compared to upgrading cables these make a bigger difference. IMHO.  I run mine at a 3 which seems to be most folks sweet spot.  With my friends VS 4 seemed to sound better with the silk dome tweeters. 

It's been a highly enjoyable upgrade. I have a well treated room.

I currently am using the Townshend on top of my Usher Mini 2 Diamonds. Seems to create a greater sense of space.

My error. I owned the Elac ribbon tweeter. I only evaluated the Townshend.

Yes, I do. I’m running a pr with my Focal Maestro EVO’s. They add a bit of extension to the upper frequencies. System sounds more alive with them.
