Totem Hawk vs Acoustic Zen Adagio

Can anyone compare and contrast these two? I own the Hawks and love them. Wondering if the Adagios would be a step forward. Nuforce Reference 9SE are my amps.

its all objective of course, but i'm with you...the hawks are great, as are the totem forests.
Had the forests, really liked them. For my music tastes prefer the adagios.I wish i could afford to have both around. The totem is a more forward sound,az more relaxed to my ears, imho.

No offense Jaybo, but it's all "subjective."
i never heard somebody say that totem's are forward sounding. it could be the source equipment.
I own the Hawks and love them. I haven't heard the Adagios so can't comment on those. I do not think at all Totems are forward sounding.
i really like the totem line of speakers, i own the mani's and a pair of their inwalls now but have owned the model 1's and arro's in the past. the hawks and forest speakers are very nice but i also liked the adagios when i heard them. i don't think the adagios is a step up, maybe a sideways move.

Ditto. Hawks have something special going on in the mid-range. I don't think the adagios would be step up.
