Too good to be buried in a thread.

One of my favorite songs of the past three decades, sung as a duet by a couple of fantastic sister singers:

For good measure, performed by the songs writer and his excellent band:

Music of this quality makes life tolerable.

@wyoboy: My pleasure! Though I am the oldest sibling, my two younger sisters are slowing becoming---how shall I put it? Mentally challenged. Music is my escape from the grim reality of our brief lifespans in these bodies we inhabit. Watching in abject horror as cancer ate my mothers brain when I was 14 to 15 years old installed in me a fatalistic view of life. Thank God for music, which is for me the primary reason for not putting an end to this nonsense. Just kidding. wink

@roadcykler: Wow, your reaction to the music in the two videos I posted is to categorize it as "audio show type music"? I don't find it to be so, but one man's poison.....

I love AC/DC, Weezer, and other Rock bands, and have no problem with the singing of Bon Scott and Brian Johnson. But I think everyone is already familiar with them, and my objective in the music threads I initiate is to bring to the attention of AudiogoN members music/singers/songwriters/musicians they may not be familiar with.

I could just as easily post videos of Howlin' Wolf and Big Joe Turner if you would prefer. Speaking of Joe, it's not a stretch to make the argument that he was the very first Rock 'n' Roll singer.
