Probably the best thing is to upgrade the Dude. Better PS Capacitors, volume control caps and resistors. That will take it to another level for sure.

To those who have moved on from Tube Research Labs Dude and/or Samson
I have been a happy owner of the fantastic TRL Dude preamp and Samson amps. With the sad news of Paul Weitzel's passing last year it has me thinking if I should move on or stay put. To those who have moved on from owning TRL Dude and/or Samson, looking back are you happy to have made the move or wish you had kept them? If you are happy, what did you end up moving to?
