The verdict - Burmester 232 is worth MUCH MUCH MUCH more than its price!!!

My system:

Burmester 232  + Focal Kanta 3s + LTA Aero DAC with upgraded Ray Reserve 6SN tubes+ Wireworld Eclipse 8 cables + Axxess Interconnects

Spent in excess of $50,000 and the sound I am getting is priceless! And my system has not even broken in yet. Thanks to all folks on this forum for their invaluable input.

@madhusudan_ramaswamy People here mostly are helpful and there’s a deep bench. Very deep. Scolding members over not wanting to join a facebook group knocks you down. I imagine you are considerably younger than most members. Show us older folks some respect and you will reep great guidance.

Some valid points that have nothing to do with audio:

  • I think I grew up with one of those Sunbeam toasters. I guess the toaster "oven" was the technological advance that displaced them. Oh, how we grieve over the things that made this country great.
  • Facebook is a cesspool. And for those that read the Facebook "News feed": you have been compromised.
  • The Great Wealth Transfer is the largest wealth transfer in history and is the here and now, although in this case it may be simply because this young gentleman exceeded his own expectations.
  • For the record, I asked A.I. ... Older people may dislike younger people due to perceptions of entitlement, a perceived lack of work ethic, and disrespect. Other reasons include value differences between generations (Women are important. Kinda. Not really), a disconnect created by social skills lacking in young people (Usually cannot follow simple directions!), and an unconscious bias from older individuals who romanticize their own past (Sunbeam toasters) and view the present through a lens of comparison. Psychological factors like flawed memory (Wait, what?), authoritarian tendencies (Fake! Hoax!), and even jealousy of opportunities (When do we all get Burmester's?) can contribute to this negative generational outlook. (Doesn't that sum it up? Great job A.I.!)
  • Lying on social media has been trending up since the MySpace days.

For the record, I am the one that advised this young man on what to buy. And I did not get offered a bottle of wine for it. Rather would just have a stray cable he may have laying around though. I have a home AND an address!

I have been diligently researching streamers so I can be there for him when he needs me, so I am on call! You go Ramaswamy!
