The problem with speakers

As an audiophile who has plenty of experience in both listening to speakers and hand tuning 'em by ear, I can hereby confirm that the biggest problem I find with speakers is that they all have a sound of their own. Sometimes it is immediately obvious but even the best speakers have a coloration which your brain eventually hears and this is what causes us the need to UPGRADE. 

A loudspeaker needs to have no sound of its own but unfortunately no speaker company seems to understand that and so they end up designing speakers that just sound good to them, which is WRONG. 

Whether we can achieve PERFECT speakers is not the issue. The issue is that speaker companies do not understand that a speaker should have no coloration and they do not know how to make a speaker that achieves that. It is simply IGNORANCE which has led to BAD speakers on the marketplace for unsuspecting victims to buy and end up suffering DEPRESSION.
