My first quibble is his suggestion that symphony orchestras are not "amplified" performance. A classical musical instrument is an amplifier, and each instrument chooses to be amplified according to how it has been tuned - the bowing, or blowing or banging is an amplification. Same with any so called "acoustical" performance that has not been electrically amplified. It is still being amplified by the instrument and how it is being handled by the player. I only mention this because the amplification distinction sounds not germane to his analysis. It sounds to me more like he is saying you have to listen to "real" music before you can understand anything about music.
It didn't help either that the narrator - after calling Randy "stupid" and an "idiot" and "divorced from reality" and an "acoustic moron" almost in the same sentence says that he does "not mean any disrespect."
All in all - this was a jarring "performance" on his part, nor did it help his case that his constant companion appears to be a blue stuffie bear perched in his lap. I love unorthodox characters though, so so be it. I won't say though whether I am referring to Erin or his lap bear.
I suspect that our dear Mahgister was partially engaged in an exercise to get the juices flowing on the forum. Mission maybe accomplished!
