T+A HVEQ room correction software

I have a T+A PA 3100 HV with the APM board and I have gone through the manual room correction but would like to use the T+A HVEQ software using a measurement mic.  I've downloaded the software on to a windows 11 laptop. The HVEQ instructions say to connect the PA 3100 directly to the PC using an ethernet cable.  I have done that and the network lights indicate activity, but the software will not connect to the 3100. When I ping the 3100 IP address from the PC it does not find it. I can't seem to find anyone that has experience with the HVEQ software. T+A USA support is hooking me up to a call from Germany at some point, but I was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions?

Yeay.  So sounds like all you have to do is give it an IP address from your router's group and you can leave it connected.

In your router, assign your T+A a fixed IP address. Then set that IP address in your T+A device and you can leave it like that forever. :)

Ideally your T+A and your PC use DHCP, allowing for automatic IP assignment and configuration.  In this case both should connect to your home network, not directly.

If your T+A really does not, you probably need to restart your PC to make sure it takes on the T+A network configurations.

Essentially both your PC and T+A need to be on the same subnet or it will attempt to route the packets outside. For instance:

PC : 192.168.1.112

T+A : 10.1.5.42

That won’t work. Nor will 192.168.2.xxx, again, wrong subnet.
