SYSTEM COMPLETE FINALLY!

What does your system consist of and are you done? I have a kr audio va900 integrated amplifier.  Resonessence Mirus Pro Dac. Sony modwright CD player. Melco n1a server.  Gato FM6 speakers. Clarity Cable power cables and interconnects   Atlas mavros speaker cables. Very happy.   I’m out.  Got a baby and this hobby is too expensive game over. 30k. 10 year chase and I’m out.

calvinj......you know now,according to experts,you're not supposed
to hang out with the old crowd.......bad influences and all.
I liked your post about friends calling dibs for all your stuff after you
die....probably at your wake ,when they'll all be together laughing
and drinking toasts to you.
Yup you are right. People will call dibs. Somebody will get your stuff that doesn’t understand what it can do. Most gear is insanely priced but I heard some speakers at reasonable price points
Pulled back in.  Dealer loaned kubala sosna elations. Sounds pretty good.  Price hurts though.  Lol.  It gets to a point where it’s slight changes and improvements. I got a pretty good system either way. Going to be putting high fidelity ct2 in soon
@calvinj, I'll be interested in your thoughts of the HFC ct2 since I know that you have heard and/or owned most of their products.
Yes, I realize I’ve said this before but a rich man has about as much chance of getting into audio Nirvana as a camel 🐫 has of passing through the eye 👁 of a needle.
Lak. I heard thenreveal line and was impressed. Smoother little bigger sound detail is still there. Pushed back a little. But bigger soundstage.
@gavman the Gato don’t go as low as most speakers and I have the Rel 212se pair to help but with that open Midrange that the open and airy treble it’s truly a jewel. It is also fast and transparent. It has great synergy with my KR audio amp and the Resonessence Dac or Soulution 540 dac CD player it’s a winner. I have changed my interconnects to a new company infigo audio who loaned me a proto type interconnect from their sparkle series that I am enjoying.  Synergy is an underrated part of putting a system together. My system synergy is excellent.
@bondmanp we have to enjoy what we have sometimes improvements come in smaller improvements. Working on synergy, speaker placement. Give yourself time to enjoy and maximize what you have. This has been a 12 year project. Better equipment or what we think is better sometimes destroys your system synergy
