Man, this is some crazy stuff, goes against any known saneness that I once thought I possessed. (My wife might not agree with that statement.)
I owe you thanks for posting the idea. My friend Tom convinced me to give it a try, he says that the copper slug may have been drawn in one direction as wire is.
What I am hearing with just a couple hours in, is that yes, I do at least at this time, do hear more resolution, a little louder, more dynamic, better higher frequencies and overall better sound. I would not have believed it.
Now do I believe that I just happened to have the fuses both in the same direction before I switched them? It sure seems like I got lucky, but I will probably reverse one in the future just to try. I did put a small red tape piece at each fuse end, so I don’t get confused. (not in the contact area)
Perhaps Mark should add some mark for future tweakers...
