Swiss Digital FUSE BOX Question Thread

Good Day

Over the last several weeks I have been receiving questions daily about the Swiss Digital Fuse Box

I have asked permission to post this thread.

Questions, needs, comments etc. – feel free to post here

I’m hopeful that by starting this thread those interested can get their questions answered.

Thanks – Mark

Sluggos are directional. When I use the graphene sluggo on my Wavac EC300b the difference between either way is substantial. It‘s equivalent to changing phase: when inserted the right way images get more coherent and there is less congestion.,Pls try it, otherwise you may not know what you are missing.

@ozzy

Did you change both simultaneously? You‘d be ideally positioned to change one and then let us all know.

Cheers

Question to Mark: am I right that the box results in a 1-2 db transmission loss?

@ozzy

Agreed, what I was trying to get at is that there seems to be a very slight volume loss comparing an inserted box to a sluggo only setting. That said the benefits compared to fuses are uncontesteable

To further improve the Digital Fusebox combine it with a Furutech FLUX 50 NCF. unfortunately that links via 2 IECs, otherwise it’s make an excellent piggytail.

It’s actually a passive power conditioner, crystals based and since it sits at the end point of the piwer chain particularly effective at eliminating ground level borne and EMI/RFI induced crud on the piwer line. It drops the noise floor, increases localisation within and dimensions of the sound stage as well as sharpening impulse response. And the Chinese knock offs are actually quite good.
