Swiss Digital FUSE BOX Question Thread

Good Day

Over the last several weeks I have been receiving questions daily about the Swiss Digital Fuse Box

I have asked permission to post this thread.

Questions, needs, comments etc. – feel free to post here

I’m hopeful that by starting this thread those interested can get their questions answered.

Thanks – Mark

Wanted to comment quickly that we do purchased "Extruded" Bar Stock that we then carefully mill to size. We are even doing that dreaded UK required 6 x 25mm necessary for UK Socketry.  Gotta love the UK. My first wife was an Ipswich Girl.

"one piece" is accurate given the Milling necessary...

As always - Thanks

PS - I will try to post more during The Season, as we have some pretty nifty stuff coming.

So, keeping in the spirit of being a possessed, tweaker, audiophile I just reversed the direction of the Graphene fuses in my mono block amps.

@ozzy

Did you change both simultaneously? You‘d be ideally positioned to change one and then let us all know.

Cheers

antigrunge2,

Man, this is some crazy stuff, goes against any known saneness that I once thought I possessed. (My wife might not agree with that statement.)

I owe you thanks for posting the idea. My friend Tom convinced me to give it a try, he says that the copper slug may have been drawn in one direction as wire is.

What I am hearing with just a couple hours in, is that yes, I do at least at this time, do hear more resolution, a little louder, more dynamic, better higher frequencies and overall better sound. I would not have believed it.

Now do I believe that I just happened to have the fuses both in the same direction before I switched them? It sure seems like I got lucky, but I will probably reverse one in the future just to try. I did put a small red tape piece at each fuse end, so I don’t get confused. (not in the contact area)

Perhaps Mark should add some mark for future tweakers...

More to come...
