Incidentally you’d be better off posting this under the Speakers category instead of Music as you’ll get more responses. 

Agree to go with sealed over ported, and get two subs if you have the space as the benefits of two subs will very likely outweigh spending the same on one more expensive sub.  For example, I’d get two SB1000 Pro subs over one SB3000.  Just my $0.02 FWIW, and best of luck.
