If you own your own home, I suggest a whole house surge protector.
They are self sacrificial, and don't cost much, though you do need a licensed electrician to install it.
But it does give you peace of mind, as well as protecting all of your electrical equipment throughout the house.

a desirable feature, besides protection, is the sequenced time delay, turns accessories on first, then 10 secs later powers the amp(s). Turns off amp first, delays 30 secs then turns off accessories.

probably too small for you, just thought I would mention that feature.
