Sugden A21 synergy with PMC FB1 speakers

On paper, I think it should work. In theory it seems like a match made in heaven. Has anyone tried this combination? Source can be either the Stello DA-100 Signature or some VPI HW-19 series turntable with whichever tonearm/cartridge combo I can find used. Is the Sugden's phono input any good? Does anyone know which integrated amp has the best phono...I'd just like to know how good they can be to have an idea of what I'm missing out on.
