Starke IC-H5 Elite Floor standing speakers....

Hi Goners,

I read great review about them in Widescreen Mag. (if I remember the magazine name correctly). There's no place to hear them in my area. Just wondering if any of you have heard them and what your opinion is. They retail for $13,920 for the pair. Also looking at the Focal Sopra 2 (same price range) so if you have experience with both that would be great.

Hi stereo5 (and fellow goners)

TAS review was on the IC H-3 and yes they did like them. My interest is in the IC H-5 (their big floor standers). I'd appreciate input from anyone that has auditioned them (and with what type of amplification).

I believe either Stereophile or TAS reviewed them earlier this year.  They were well received.
