A pair if Def Tec's with a built in sub would probably be a good choice. It will keep the cost of a new amp down, as well.
Speakers for Electronic Music?
Here's what I'm looking for:
1) Budget = ~$2k
2) Electronic music, specifically ambient (50%), IDM (25%), psychill (25%)
3) Speaker type = preferably a pair of loudspeakers
If you care to opine about a good amp to go with it (budget = ~$1k), please do. Most of the music will be coming in from a PC, so an amp with a nice DAC would be a plus.
