Speaker Cable Management


I am remodeling and to keep the peace with my new set-up I would like to run conduit behind the sheet-rock and down through the crawlspace to keep the speaker cables out of sight, making things like cable risers and such pretty well an impossibility.

Any thoughts on this?

I do much the same, but with my interconnects (for monoblocks).

You can get pretty anal about these things, but when it comes down to basics, I doubt you would distinguish a significant change in sound.

Cable risers mitigate floor reflections which are on one side.

Conduit is a metalized 360° "mirror."
