A startling documentary by Werner Herzog (it's in the theaters now), the soundtrack was composed by Richard Thompson, and performed by him and several other musicians. The music and the film are both quite powerful.
The film explores some deep, deep themes. Good conversational fuel for long nights spent contemplating man's relationship to nature with close friends. Good music too.
I can think of nothing more disturbing than the thought of being attacked and eaten by an animal. That said, the individual's story is one that sounds fascinating. I'll probably go see it. I bet the soundtrack is also great.
