I just purchased this Integrated amp and would like to know opinions whether it is considered a higher end of Sony brand: It says ES on the power transformer. It is built well.
It is part of the ES series, but as an integrated towards the lower end of that line. The separates are more desirable. Your exact model was listed last year with an asking price of $300. Who knows what it actually sold for.
